Avian Insect Liquidator (A.I.L) Concentrate Mite and Lice Spray

Vetafarm Avian Insect Liquidator (A.I.L) Concentrate Concentrate Insecticide for ornamental caged birds Controls mites and lice on ornamental birds and their environment. Protects for up to 6 weeks. Avian Insect Liquidator or A.I.L. will control avian mites, lice, biting insects, houseflies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and spiders in the bird’s environment. Methoprene is an insect growth regulator and it prevents the growth of insects for up to 6 weeks. A.I.L. is an extremely safe but effective insecticide and insect growth regulator for all avian species. When used directly on the bird, A.I.L. penetrates feathers to kill mites and lice. When sprayed around the environment A.I.L. kills insects on contact and has residual action that guards against re-infestation for up to six weeks. Concentrate: Use a 5% solution of concentrate (1 part concentrate made to 20 parts total volume with water e.g. 50mL/L). Shake well before use. Ready to use: (a) To control Avian Mites (Dermanyssus spp, Ornithonyssus spp) and lice (order Mallophaga): Spray directly onto the bird by holding spray 30-40cm from the bird. (b) Environment: Spray aviary, perches, and nest boxes thoroughly. One spray should give up to six weeks of protection. Active Constituents: Concentrate- Permethrin 25 g/L, Piperonyl Butoxide 125 g/L, Methop rene 0.4 g/L. Protection of Fish: Harmful to fish.
